[Photos] Bikes of New York, part 1

During my last few trips out to New York City, I've noticed the diversity in the bicycles that are left along the sidewalks. Some look brand new, while others look like the chain holding them to the light post hasn't flexed in years. Some are whole, some are missing wheels and seats and handlebars. Occasionally I'll see one with a battery pack on it, and when I was there in February, some had mittens taped to the handlebars for the rider to put their hands into.

These photos were taken on Kodak Ektar 100 and Fujicolor C200 with a Minolta X-370. They were developed by The Photo Factory in Port Huron and TheDarkroom.com, and edited in Photoshop.
